Mixed-Income Housing
Our ownership model is the first of its kind in Canada, created so that no one pays more than 30-35% of their household’s net income each month, and when they leave they are repaid some of this with interest. This ensures affordability for all.
Sustainable Design
We’ve designed all aspects of the farm and community based on permaculture principles. Energy-efficient homes, access to walking paths and ponds, and a 57-acre chemical-free farm highlight our commitment to climate resilience and low environmental impact.
Inclusive Community
In our mixed-income and intergenerational cohousing village, this is a welcome place for members of different cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and lifestyles. Connection is built through shared spaces for crafts, fitness & yoga, library & office, children & teen activities, music, and a large kitchen and dining area for common meals 5 nights/week.
Why Choose Killick Ecovillage?
Choosing Killick means embracing a lifestyle rooted in connection, sustainability, and shared purpose. It's about moving beyond a house on a street to becoming part of a mixed-income community where you can build lasting relationships, contribute to a shared vision, and live in harmony with nature.
